Every blog starts somewhere. This is mine.
I’ve been meaning to start writing publicly for a while now — not because I think I have anything uniquely profound to say, but because writing is how I think clearly. Putting ideas into sentences forces me to actually understand them.
What to expect
No particular focus, no editorial calendar. I’ll write about:
- Software and how I think about building it
- Books I’m reading
- Things I’m figuring out as I go

Why Astro?
I built this site with Astro because it ships zero JavaScript by default, keeps content in plain Markdown files, and stays out of my way. The best tool is usually the one you don’t have to think about.
